What MM2H is

Malaysia My Second Home is a long-term residence pass that lets qualifying foreign nationals live in Malaysia on a renewable visa, anchored by a bank fixed deposit and (for most tiers) a qualifying property.

Who it suits

Retirees, remote professionals, investors and families seeking a stable, well-connected base in Southeast Asia with a high quality of life and favourable cost of living.

Residency expectation

Participants are expected to spend a cumulative 90 days per year in Peninsular Malaysia, with conditions varying by category.

Property & deposit

Up to 50% of the fixed deposit may be withdrawn after a qualifying property purchase. A 10-year property sale restriction applies.
